Really digging my 2013 cvo rg. Turning into one of my favorite bikes of all time (and I have owned many!!!) Not a bit of trouble, on my second set of tires and just routine maintenance. Probably the 3 ugrades I enjoy the most are the stage 4 sound customz setup, the chopped tourpak and the hammock seat. Plan to keep this one till I hit 60k on the odometer.

congrats!! I must ride enough. I just 21K on an 07 SEEG. Except for a new clutch master cylinder I have been trouble free. The seat is starting to show its age

Congrats, I have the same bike. I love mine! :orange:

That sounds good! Curious why you plan to keep it only until you hit 60K?

LOL.. I also have a 2009 RK that is pushing 30k miles.

Another 3 or 4 years, I'll be all over a new RG. Kinda been my method in the past, no other reason.

I trade mine at 45K miles give or take 2K.
09 SERG traded in 2011 with 44,350 miles For a 12 SERG.
12 SERG traded in 2014 with 45,540 miles for a 15 SERGU.
13 SERK has 14,400 miles on it, and the new 15 SERGU has 8530 miles on it.
Hope 2017 has SERG, as I like them a bit better than the ultra, and the 15 should be over 45K by then.

So I went tonight to order a throttle side heated grip from Scottsdale HD for the 07 and left after test driving a 15 CVO with a $ grand off sticker and $16 K for my 07. Said I'd call them in the morning. I am not going to get any sleep tonight.

Did your throttle grip get loose on you. Mine did on a trip, tried to squeeze the throttle and no power then realized the grip was loose kept hitting it on the end to push it back on every once in awhile until we got to a dealer and had to buy a new set. They didn't have the original so picked out one that was kind of close. And my bike is an 07.

I did. Part just arrived and going to have installed along with the chrome switch caps I bought years ago but didn't get around to installing. Evidently in hot weather the glue that holds the grip together fails and it sepArates. I happened to look down and see the grip half off - at 70 mph. Pulled over and shoved it back on

Yea, I had to keep whacking it on the end to push it back on every once in awhile on the way to a dealer while we were on a road trip.
