  A young brave approached the tribes Chief one day , and asked " Where do indian's get their names from ?" The Chief explained that that the first thing the father see's after the baby is born,& he steps out of the tepee , becomes the infants name. for example when I was born my father saw an eagle soaring above his tepee ,so I became Soaring Eagle , when your friend was born , his father saw a running deer , that is why he is known as "Running Deer" Why do you ask ?
