Yes, but in the same respect you could buy 3 Gold Wings for the cost of a FLHTCUSE and have one spare while the other is in the shop.

I have to agree on the price of  GW1800 and it won't be long they will be the price of a FLHTCUSE(?).
Then MoCo will really have a problem on sales.

I'm not sure I agree with that statement...The wing is already a mechanically superior motorcycle to the Electra Glide, but yet the EG out-sells the wing all the time.  Making the price higher on the Wing is not going to cause sales problems for the MoCo, but more, I would think for Honda.

all this talk about toolboxes gave me the itch...  Great deal Mark! I love waiting for the right deal to come along. Did the same to get my 1003, watched ebay for a couple months. I didn't want to spend the $7,500 for a new one, all I saw on ebay was $4,000 plus $500 shipping. Then came along toe one I got, something wasn't right and I couldn't bid, kept telling me incorrect amount entered. Long story shortened, I got it for $2,500 and it was local enough to pick up.
 Should last me until I retire.  Dave

Costco, nice deal on a set of stainless steel with great bb guides. Then head to Sears to stock it and you'll be many $$$$$$ ahead. Snap on prices are absolutely nuts now. Didn't I hear somewhere Snap on makes the same tools under another brandname for Home Depot or Lowes? Might be Cobalt.

I bought the MAC Tech 1000 for $3800.00 new from Dealer in orange. Not a bad box for the price.

While that may be true, I actually bought the black one -- because everybody knows that black is faster than yellow which is faster than red!  This is why I have a black SERK -- and now a new tool box to keep it primed up.
