Looks like you do, this is off the Owners on the Harley Davidson website.

I would call Sirius back and hope you get a different operator and give the m your ESN number and tell them you want to activate it

There is a special number to call for CVO.  I called and gave them my radio ID and okay, all set.  Just had to give them my email address.  When trial expires, they email you an offer to extend another 6 months for $2.00, otherwise it goes silent.

2019 CVO Limited.  SiriusXM tried to tell me the trial was only for audio.  After three calls to them and speaking to three different supervisors, I finally got one that knew how to handle it.  See the Boom Box manual for the Trial Subscription info.  Its under Audio-Satellite Radio-Trial Subscription.

I added the SiriusXM module myself and even got the three month trial. Seems they’re s but like the moco and claim ignorance of known facts.

They are wrong. I got it free for 9o days includes weather and traffic. Try calling again. You were talking to someone that didn’t know what they were talking about

I just encountered the same issue.  Sirius had no idea what I was talking about.  I read them the excerpt from the post above and they miraculously figured out a way to make it happen.  Only took three calls, the last of which lasted 35 minutes.

I have been a Sirius user for 20 years (Since Howard Stern moved to it) . There are a few intricacies. Firstly, no knock against outsourcing, but that is all you get when you call, English is not their first language and a lot is lost in translation. Call again and you may get someone who is better at understanding. Secondly, don't EVER pay for the subscription when your ends, let it run out for a week or two. I am now listening to the premium package in my GMC for $125 for the year, they originally offered $99 a month. The satellite is circling the earth either way, they would rather get something from you to pay for the rotation around the earth!!!!  Good luck, as all have stated already, you should/will get it. Side note: the sound it soooo much better that listening to an IPOD, louder, clearer, way less distortion.

Last I knew even if you bought a vehicle used that had SiriusXm built in as the new owner you received a free trial. Call them back. They want you as a customer.

Whether is a Harley or a Cadillac, a good dealer takes care of that for you. Mine have always had the free trail in effect when I picked them up. I never asked them to, they just did it. Had XM since summer '04 and you must call for re-up, do not let them "auto" renew you. The charges go thru the roof when they do that.

I didn't want mine activated by dealer. I bought my bike late in the year and didn't want to use up my free trial while my bike was setting in the garage over the winter. I waited and activated in the spring.

The field is much more crowded than that Alan.  I would add Harley, Comcast, and AT&T for starters.  True customer service is a rare bird these days, no matter what any of them say in their advertising.

My dealer had mine all set up and working when I took delivery of my new "Duracell" way back in 2008.

Lucky me, not only did I get the first 3 months for free, somehow they forgot to flip the switch on mine and I went well over a year before they cut me off.   :2vrolijk_21:

Now I pay, but only $30CND for 6 months at a time.

I am with you on Sirius, there are other bad ones out there, but Sirius beats them all.

On my 15 Renewal, took 4 Sirius rep to get it renewed correctly the 3rd time.   Kept telling me I did not have weather or Traffic.  I kept telling them to review my billing history, I sure wouldn't pay for something I did not have.  I had to get supervisors supervisor involved, and that was cause I told them to cancel my car and truck also, I was done waiting my time.

I hate dealing with them.  I dread when renewal comes up.

Did not have dealer set it up on the 19 as I picked the bike up Dec 24th and its winter.  I dread the call in march to get my trial.

You can do everything online with Sirius. No dealing with the morons on the phone. The only thing you cant do online is to cancel your service. That requires a phone call. And you have to say is I wish to cancel my service.

I wasn't able to activate my free trial online or turn on weather and traffic online. Went through three people before I found one that wouldn't say weather/traffic wasn't available on my unit even though I had been paying for it and was trying to renew it and had it on my 2016 with the same radio.

You could for a very sort period of time start a trail with a new bike on line.  That was removed for HD with the 17 or 18.  Was able to do it once with a bike.

When ever I’ve activated a new vehicle with SiriusXM, I’ve been told to you that the activation goes by the original sales date. Now the was on Chrysler vehicles. So did SiriusXM allow you to do it later? If they did, great, only wish I knew they would allow it.
I act activated mine back in late October, didn’t get toomuch riding time in and my 3 month subscription has expired. But yesterday I got a letter allowing me to get 3 more months of All Access for free!

They did let me delay activation. It was never even questioned. Sometimes unfortunately you have to get a little firm with these people. I currently have 4 radios activated and all I have to say is " then just go ahead and turn all of them off" and they will find a way to fix my problem.
