Title: airtail ias shocks
Post by: yourdozerman on October 13, 2010, 10:48:47 PM
I've got the airtail ias shocks on my pumpkin, can't decide what I think about em yet. Wonderin if anyone else has run these and if they have run anything else like the 440's to compare them 2, and be able to let me know how much difference there is and if it may be worth switchin if the 440's ride alot better. I'm only 5'6" and need a shorter shock, which is why I went with the air ride, but I think they ride a little rough. Thanks 4 any info

Also curious being 5'6" if I switched should I go with 11" or 12". It is pretty curvy in my neck of the woods, don't want to drag but don't want to tip toe either. Thanks

I took off the factory air shocks 'cause they were junk.
Put Progressive 440's om. That alone kept me from selling the bike.

Also installed a set of the Arnott air ride shocks. Didn't like them either and took them off.

Currently am using Bitubo's. Still ain't no Cadillac, but the ride is much better.

Maybe a set of Progressive 940's will work for you.
