Moderators:  Didn't know where this would best fit :confused5: but just had to share with everyone... please move it if you see fit...

To all of those who recommended Gene and Pam from Paint by Gene, you have my sincere gratitude!!! :2vrolijk_21:

I got them to paint a modular helmet for me to match my Black Diamond and Silver Dust '08 SERK.  I just got it back today and it is AWESOME!!!   :bananarock:

I'm going to attach a couple of pictures but they won't do it justice at all... it's raining here now but once I get a sunny day I'll get some pics outside that will hopefully show this in a more true to life fashion and post them.

As I suspected, the pictures don't show the detail on this very well  :-\ but if you click on the pics to enlarge them you can see the detail (ghost flames, etc.) a little better...

For those of you with an '08 SERK with this paint scheme you'll appreciate it when I tell you the helmet is IDENTICAL to the bike... :2vrolijk_21:

I thought someone might ask that... I'll ask that you get with Gene and get him to give you a quote on what you would like specifically.

I'm not trying to be a smart aleck about it but Gene does such great work and each job is likely going to be different from the rest that I'd hate to set an expectation on his behalf.

With mine, the helmet was originally bright red with multi-color stripes and I know he had a very tough time getting it to where the colors didn't show through the primer.  I think going forward he'll likely request that only solid color helmets be used for that reason and he may or may not adjust his price accordingly.

Shoot them an email info@paintbygene.com and I'm sure they'll quote you something reasonable.  Trust me... it's worth it. :)

do you think this guy can paint my Harley full face helmet to match my Maple Metallic with burnished gold graphics?
This would be a challenge to a good airbrush person.

Time & money CVOgaree. You can get anything you want. I know Gene does outstanding paint work and would do a great job. Had mine done by the local painter that did much of the flame and detail work on my Switchblade. He did a great job on the helmet as well.
