So I have been thinking about a 2011 FLTRUSE, in Rio Red, but I am underwhelmed by the graphics. No nasty replies please ( just my opinion ). Of all the CVOs produced the graphics on the Road Glide Ultra are the least custom looking, least exciting I have ever seen. Here is what changed my mind, saw one in a dealer today and  the colors are absolutely gorgeous. The Rio Red just pops, and the Black Ember has serious red metal flake in it. Now, I have to have one. Perhaps the nicest colors of any Harley ever, ( again just my opinion).

You've got one keen eye for a great looking bike. It did the same for me.

I'm very happy with my Rio Red & Black Ember '11 CVO RGU.

While out riding yesterday I told a buddy we neede to go by the dealership and I'd show him THE bike. It was the red SERG. The SOB is talking numbers with the dealer today. He's buying MY dream bike. I saw the Gray one first and loved it, honestly I can't say which one I like best. ???

I originally ordered the Red/Black from my dealership, and was content with my decision, until I saw the Gray/Black sitting at my dealer.  They got it in before my bike, but put a sold sign on it and gave me first right of refusal.  The minute I walked in the door and saw it sitting there, I had to have the Gray/Black, classiest looking bike I've ever seen the MoCo build.  Wife fell in love with it because she loved how it made the chrome "pop".  Forgot all about the Red/Black and bought it, and haven't regretted it at all.  And to add to my pleasure, the red/black was scheduled to arrive at the dealer in December, but just got there this month, so that even made it better.  The Red/Black does look good, but the Gray/Black, IMO, is pure class.  They called it the "black tie bike" at the dealership.

I completely agree about the Gray/Black being all class. The red catches a lot of eyes I am sure but the black is like the Mercedes where black is the standard of elite.

I am disappointed there is no bird and have to say Simon has the biggest balls on the club.LOL He painted over a CVO. :o Somebeach you gotta respect a guy with that much confidence. I have to conclude by adding looks and esthetic's are very subjective.

I think what I did could only have been done on the Slate/Black combo. It would not have worked on the Red/Black or the Frost Ivory/Gold, at least not with the same impact.
