Major wear problems

My 07 Springer now has 39k miles with no major engine work done, just yearly new tyres and fluids

Has anybody had to do some engine work due to normal wear n tear.

I am not talking about the product improvements we all experienced!

Since them has anybody done the cam chain tensioners or the primary chain guide, if so with how many miles did your bike have?
