Took my new RG for a 300 mile ride this weekend with a couple of buddies through the twisties in western MD/Pa.
1. Awesome handling bike. Surefooted, scraped the footboards few times, tracks where you want it to go. I am an ape hanger guy but I dont think I'm going to mess up the stock setup and/or change shocks etc.
2. Didnt wind up the rpm's past 3500, still under 500 total miles. Good torque, smooth shifting with the hydraulic clutch and the stock exhaust....love the growl, just wish it was about 20% louder. Slipons definately at the 1000 mile service.
3. Fit and Finish, what you would expect in a super premium bike. Nice touches all over like the chrome under the footboards, liners in the glovebox.
4. Stereo is decent. Saddlebag speakers are useless at any speed over 30 mph. I mostly used the ipod, you can view/change playlists on the head unit. Can really hear the fairing tweeters kick in.
5. Seat is comfy enough, ergonomics were great for me at 6'1" and 205lb. If you are really tall/big, an ultra probably would be a better choice.
Overall, handling, finish and drivetrain are what sets this bike apart from the other Harleys I've owned. Still love my 2009 FLHP as well!

I have heard this before, and I'm sure U mean it, BUT, I would like to make a small bet with U that U cannot leave it stock! A nickle a change(on the bike) would be the ongoing bet,  ie a way for me to make a bet on a sure thing!!

The gold/green one is awsome!!!! That is the best yet as far as I am concerned ! We rolled it outside in the sun and the green in this FLTRXSE is beautiful! And color changing as well!

Luggage bags or liners, my 13 orange didn't. If your did I need to make a phone call. Also they said no Gold Key this year.

Mine came with luggage but no liners. So if yours came with both let us know. I was told when I picked mine up that all there was was the CVO bike cover. Next morning I was given the luggage bags, wind baffles, jiffy stand plate, leather wax and tool kit.

I suppose I miss understood. Here is what came with mine. Removable liners/bags, tool kit, jiffy stand, leather wax, microfiber cloth, wet weather caps, owners manual, leather manual holder, cvo cover, iPod nano, and a full tanks of gas!

The CVO bikes with hard bags and/or a TP have LINERS in the bags and TP.  The luggage carriers are not liners.  Liners are the stiff felt looking removable things inside the bags/TP.  They are included.

I don't think any thing but the Ultra get the liners this year.

New info as I just got off the phone with the moco and they do not come with the liners

The liners are nice when not traveling as you can stick stuff in there and it won't rattle around when riding.  However, they take up a lot of space, so when packing the bike for a longer trip, I take them out to give a bit more room for the luggage bags...you'd be surprised how much more you can stuff in there without the liners installed.

You indicated "bikes with TPs have liners"... SERGC's dont come with tour paks... my '12 did not have liners, nor did my 09 I traded in for it.

Yes, I know that.  I guess just the "Ultra" models come with them, though I think the SG's came with them in the bags.  If I'm not mistaken, that's been the case since '06.  My '11 SERGU has liners in the bags, TP, and all four glove boxes.  Often, the dealers (or salesman) don't have a clue what comes standard with the bike, so many members here have not received all the "do dads" that come with the CVO.

My 13 orange came with bags and a Gold Key, not sure the what or the why of this

I recently installed the saddlebag speaker setup with amp in my 11 SG and I do have the nice fitted felt type saddlebag liners. It  took a little time and doing but I carefully cut them to fit around the amp in the left saddlebag and it  worked out perfectly. Just take your time , measure ten times and begin . Better to be a little short at first and keep trimming til you get it perfect than overcut the first try. The right hand bag just slips right in , no problem. I ran the wires a little differently than they say to in the instructions so they were neatly tucked in the corners of the bags and all but just take your time and you will figure it out.

For what they cost they should have a set to fit our bags. Maybe I'll try again over the winter
