Title: White Gold Pearly
Post by: SmokeyJoe on January 21, 2014, 05:53:25 AM
Does anyone know if the White Gold Pearl from years ago (Street Glide, I think) will match the 2012 RGC CVO?  I am wanting to get a Razor tour pack in all white and saw these listed on a eglide goodies and another HD vendor.

The dealer should be able to look up code for the one they are selling and your vin to tell you that-but yes your color was used that year as well-

I ordered a chopped in solid WGP that was list in the parts catalog and it turned out perfect.  Actually it came quicker than if I ordered it with the CVO black stripe because it came out of the Tomahawk paint shop rather than the custom paint shop. I think it was three weeks. :2vrolijk_21:

Well thats reassuring, big sigh of tension gone now.

I gotta say it has been in the back of my mind as painted parts are non-refundable.

i just purchase a WGP chopped tour pack for my 12 Skunk.  It matched perfectly.  The CVO version of the chopped was approx $1500, the solid WGP was approx $800.  Since the bike is white on top and black on bottom, you can not really tell the difference.

I think it actually looks better.

One thing i did notice, the standard issue TP hinges now are really crap since the high tech new ones came out.  I will be upgrading as the top is a little difficult to close.

I did not take any pictures.  I will snap one tomorrow and update

I can't agree more. The way the black on the Skunk runs from a high point on the fairing and then runs down at the bag made the black stripe on the tour pak look a bit out of place. Skunks rule!

Exactly why I thought the all white made sense.  Ok but I am on the edge of my seat to see the photos.

Broke down for the factory paint, I do like the stripe tie in. It is on the garage wall unless I'm going on tour tho........  Don't think I'll ever grow up in that regard.

I just ordered the wing and light kit for the chopped pak only. Should give it a nice look and the extra lighting was the main goal.
