There are some popping up at dealers in the last few months that were MoCo bikes that used in demo fleets and exec bikes.

I know in my area of east TN no skunk ever hit the show room floor.  They were all sold long before they made it to the dealer.

I picked up one of those Skunks. Sold the 08 SERK, and rolled this one in the barn.

I called on the bike at Sunset, the left over 2012.  The guy hasn't called me back :confused5:  I was thinking if they wanted to get rid of it and the deal was worth while, I would get it and sell my CUSE.  I kind of like the idea of the removable tour pack, use it when you need it, otherwise more of a bar hopper type scoot.  If it wasn't such a PITA (pain in the ass) to do it on my bike, I would do it and keep it as the best of both worlds.  I didn't get to ride much last year because of a new job so i have really low miles on my bike.  Just thinkin outloud!

19.5 for SERK trade in (which i thought was very fair)

In their dreams!  I love my bike, but I like the idea of having a tourpack only when I need it.  A few guys managed to remove their tourpack but it was a major undertaking, you have to deal with the sound system which is tied into the amp located under the tourpack.  Basically, you have to install a new amp or relocate the amp with a easy disconnect for the speakers and electric lock, and lights on the trunk.  Dealer wanted $1500 to do the work!

I agree I have the Dyna and I Love my tour pack, and if the right deal came along I could be persuaded to add a Skunk.

The speakers in the bags, to me are not worth it.  They take up way to much space, especially when you add in the amp.  Plus I feel the skunk blows away the 13 color offerings, so does the Blue from 12.

I do think the Gold is the best color on the 13's

I went from a 2011 RGU to a 2013 CVO RG and that was one of the things I worried about.  But, the amount of space lost to the amp and speakers is surprisingly little.  Unless you have jammed your saddle bags full to the point of compressing the the contents when you shut the lid, you probably won't notice the difference.

Brand new Skunk, left over 2012 at Rawhide in Kansas.  They show a Cobalt Blue and a Maple too in stock, all with less than 10 miles on the clock.
