Also RCFlyer let us know whether or not the deflectors work.

Thanks,
Etudeguy

I definitely will.  I'll probably put the deflectors on with my Jurock shield, then update you guys when I change to the 2012 windshield.  That's not due to ship until the end of the month.

....Now, we are getting close to being as close to a CVO Heritage as it is possible to get....... Watch, now next year they will make a CVO Heritage Softail.......remember, you read it first right here on the CVO forum....... Pork.

I hope you're right! That would be a nice CVO to offer for the MoCo's 110th Anniversary in 2013, and just what I'm waiting for!

Installed deflectors today.  Big difference in turbulence.  Rebecca said windshield shipped today. Will see what stock 2012 windshield does with slot cut in it vs. the Jurock.  Pictures tomorrow.

Here's first take as promised.  It is much better than stock, but not as good as Fat Boy windshield.

I rode today with the Jurock windshield and it was better with the side deflectors.  Unfortunately I got an oil leak and my oil light came on and the lifters started clattering. After topping off the oil, the bike still ran like SH&^!!  Now I have to figure out what is going on with the engine.  Windshield may be on hold until spring depending on what I find and the weather.  Ill keep you guys posted.  I certainly hope there is no engine damage.  It was a great day until that happened.

It looks like it's coming from the breather tubes.  I think the scavenge pump is shot.  I'm pulling it apart now.  Oil drains from oil tank but never returns.

Yep, scavenge pump is shot.  Front inner cam bearing froze up and spun in case.  Needles took out oil pump.  Looks like I'm SOL the rest of this season.  I'm doing a total tear down.  I won't be evaluating any windshields until next year.

Just over 4000.  I put the cam in myself, so no warranty!!  It wasn't my fault.  I think it was a bad bearing.
