Well......  yeah; sure.  I've actually just always carefully used an open end wrench and got the job done.  But once in awhile a guy just needs to buy tools :huepfenlol2: .
:2vrolijk_21: I actually look forward to the Snap-on truck on Fridays 8). I am such a tool whore :huepfenlol2:

Nobody likes the cut the side out of a cheap socket method?      :nixweiss:

I did this with a 9/16" Craftsman socket and a Dremel tool.  Works fine for less than $20.  Especially since I've used it about twice in 5 years.

I. just did mine the other day. I took out the spot, then I cut the connector off, pulled out the wire and then cranked down the nut.with a 9/16 socket. Then I soldered the connector back on. Sure seemed like a lot of work. But what else is new? Right Bob?

Most seemingly simple jobs aren't so simple most of the time.

Just an FYI for next time.  Those connectors are pretty easy to disassemble.  Then the wires with their terminals can be fished in and out.

I had to dissasemble first before I could fish out the wire. All put back and it's fine.
