Stock radio antenna mount
« on: November 10, 2014, 07:13:51 PM »

Can anybody tell me where the stock antenna mount was, originally? I found the antenna wire rolled up and tucked under the seat but, don't see any signs of a mounting bracket for the antenna. Not sure exactly where the antenna stuck out on these. Thanks

If you facing the bike from the rear it will be on the left hand side of fender by the left saddlebag. Look at the picture below and you can see a "rubber ducky" antenna that I use (took the stock whip off)....

Yeah,  still love it like I did the day I bought it.  They really have not made one that I'd rather have to date......that's why when I T-boned the car and totaled mine, I bought it back and I rode it today. ;D  spyder

Got the bracket today. I guess I should have paid closer attention though, it doesn't come with the piece that the coax and antenna connect to.
BTW, that bracket was "pending obsolete" as is many other parts for these bikes, I'm guessing
