Hi. Rewriting this so it could be understood. I have an 06 softail deluxe up until yesterday everything was working fine I took off console to get tank repainted touch up around the console I noticed a couple of wires were slightly bare and shorting  a little so I proceeded to cut the wires and reattach th ed m together  when I put it all back together and went to start the bike I got absolutely nothing  I also noticed my alarm was no longer working or displaying anything on the speedo  my milage counter also did not come back on nor were my turn signals working  i hit my key fab and nothing  .also j noticed that the ignition only worked in the run position   but strange if I turned the 3 wire ignition wires backwards the way they didn't fit both running and acc would light up I looked online and saw that it might be a relay went to auto zone and replaced the relays and ssd's still nothing   I'm at a loss and confused on what could've happened only fixed like 4 wires total  why is this happening and how can I fix it pleas thank you   for taking the time to dead this please help it's my only transpo lately with this world going crazy due to covid     "

Checked every fuse and all are good that's why I don't understand what is going on with this  could it be the bacm or the bacm

check all plugs to make sure they are connected.

Did you pull the Maxi Fuse before you worked on the wires?

Was about to suggest the big main fuse.

Don't know if this bike has an immobilizer alarm system?  Might have gone into "lockout" mode if it thought there was a hotwire attempt.
