New EPA laws vs. Keep the old?
« on: June 08, 2005, 07:28:36 PM »

Somethin' to kick around...   I have a really neat hotrod bike...  '01 FXST, big motor, $10-12k paint job, over 100 hp... it's a real kick in the pants to hot rod around town on...  yada yada yada.  I don't NEED the bike anymore and have been thinking about selling it.

The question I keep asking myself is:  With all the crap that the EPA is throwing around about next years and the year afters regulations on hotrodding a motor, would I be better off financially to hold on to the bike until then and watch the prices jump up because it CAN be a hotrod, or should I get rid of it now, before it loses more blue book value, (making it harder for the purchaser to finance). ?

What do you folks [smiley=nixweiss.gif] [smiley=confused5.gif] think?

Must be careful with those kind of statements Chip.  After all, he might not realize you're kidding.

I say keep it!  You will regret it the way things are going to go with the EPA. [smiley=thumbsdown.gif]
