Anybody going?
-
I had planned on it as my wife and I had a good time at the 110th. My work schedule changed last week and I will now be off shore during it. I just canceled our room.
-
Nope, I'm waiting for anniversary 117.5 instead.

I’ll be there, only a 45 min ride to Milwaukee. Like to see the racing on Bradford Beach. Lots of racing this year. flhman

Yup, me and my riding buddy are looking forward to it.
This will be our third trip, 105th, 110th, and now the 115th.
I'm about as far from Milwaukee as you can get in the lower forty eight.
Already have all motel res's made for the trip.
Staying on Hwy 2 across the top of the country for most of the trip East.
Taking 5 days going and taking our time on the return trip. All totaled it will be around a 3 week trip.
Playing it by ear on the way back home, going to do plenty of site seeing.
Remember, It's not the Destination, It's the Ride!!

7 couples from here are planning to go. Few weeks ago it was 9 couples, 2 dropped out. Am thinking about it mostly for the ride - Florida to the UP and across. Info about Milwaukee stuff looks mostly the same, past years to Milwaukee to see the concerts mostly. This year no info on that yet, seems on previous rallies that info was out by now. 110th with the expensive VIP packages & all turned a lot of us off. Streets in Milwaukee then were crap - potholed and patched up bumpy surfaces with manhole covers sticking up all over the place. People were very friendly & biker friendly as usual. Our ride through Michigan & the UP was a lot of fun in 2013.

Iski I was in Milwaukee last year for the Knucklehead meet and the roads are still bad!!! Nice area along the water though.
-
Mike - my wife & I wondered why the city & county would not fix the worst of them when they knew they had a huge Harley rally coming. Seems odd, does not present a good image. Agreed about the area along the water. One of our group last time hit an upraised manhole cover at night & it threw them both sideways. Have considered making the ride & then skipping Milwaukee since so far it sounds like nothing much different. Staying in Traverse City & Mackinaw, MI and Sturgeon Bay, WI on the way there - main reasons we are going.
-
7 couples riding from Oregon to Milwaukee, doing our own ride home, should be a great time.
-
The roads are still crap. Hopefully they fix some of them but I wouldn't hold my breath. I am off that Thursday and Friday so hopefully there are some good concertes that get announced soon.

We have been to the 105th and the 110th.....not sure if we will go back for this one yet.

What I've read, there will NOT be any music concerts as in the previous anniversary bashes!
