Title: Suspension
Post by: USNCVO on March 28, 2018, 08:40:26 AM
I have to tell you... The suspension changes on the 2018s is AMAZING.  Had a 15 CVO limited.. Traded it for an 18 CVO Limited.  I can't describe the improvement... Well done HD.. well done.

They introduced the suspension changes to the 2017's.  It was a major improvement.  I just wish you could change the spring load while riding.  Not easy cranking on the knob every time you may want to change from riding solo to adding a passenger.

For those of us that can not or have no desire to change motorcycles, what are some recommended changes to the suspension?  Have a 2016 Road Glide and thinking of swapping the rear shocks for Ohlins since had them on a 2009 Street Glide.  Not sure about the forks but do not plan on doing anything there until the 50,000 mile service when the front end will be torn down, save on labor cost.  That being said, might change sooner if a special is in progress and what recommendations receive.

I was very close to having Legacy progressives added to my 15 before I traded it in... Great suspension.
