I have a 2017 CVO limited. the heat on my right foot is not good. It has started to melt the frame sticker on the left downtube. After riding a while and stopping to gas up, starter acts like it hits a lot of commpression, hit the button again, and starts right up. bike is bone stock except for fullsac baffels. Sumping?

Yep, sounds like it to me. Get it to the dealer.

Sounds like a rush to judgment. Did the bike feel like it had no power, let off the gas and it felt like the brakes were on? Smoking from exhaust? Have you checked the oil level when it’s hot?

Difficulty starting after running is a sure sign for me. Its not a given but after having 2 M8 engines in my ‘17 CVO Limited fail from sumping, I’d say based on the description, its a high probability of engine sumping. Can sometimes be hard to diagnose at the dealer unless you ride to the shop when you’re ts actually sumping so they can pull the crank position sensor and measure the oil in the crankcase.
Based on my experience, I’d recommend getting it to ur dealer.

Fair enough, it may well be sumping. I thought a little more info would be helpful. A hot right foot and no start the first button push but start the second button push didn’t seem like enough info.

Almost sounds like heatsoak symptoms some header equipped cars would have.

Dropped it off at the dealer. them figure it out. whatever it is, it shouldn't be getting hot enough to melt the downtube sticker. It hasnt gotten out of the 70's here yet.

UPDATE: installed Fullsac mx and .TTS tune. Heat is gone, bike runs good (Thanks Steve)
Just an FYI, dealer flashed their Stage 1 tune to the bike before I did the MX, which got rid of the heat, but also got rid of the low end "snap". Had them put the stock tune back in after a weekend ride.
