Hi fellow CVO owners,
I just purchased a 2018 street glide cvo and was wondering if it comes with the module to enable XM radio. I had a 2014 Street Glide special and had to spend ~ $350 for a special module to get the XM radio to work. Was hoping HD cvo comes from the factory with the module included.
Thanks.

Yes it comes with the SiriusXM already installed, also comes with I believe a 3 month trial of SiriusXM, if you bought it used it’s possible that original owner may already used the free trial, if you bought it new, get the ESN number and call Sirius to activate

If you dig around on the SiriusXM website, there is a place that let's you enter a radio ID number to see if there is free trial available on a used vehicle. I did it earlier this year for a new-to-me company vehicle and got two free months

If you only want music you can usually find specials for $5 / month. Traffic and weather run higher. My 2015 was almost unusable when I got it as everytime Id go under a tree limb it would cut out. HD upgraded the antenna in I believe 2016 and it is much better. I replaced my antenna with the newer one when I subscribed to the service. Still cuts out a bit under heavy overhanging limbs but much better than before. I've left my antenna in the stock location but I hear they work much better if relocated outside the fairing.

Even on a used vehicle, Sirius offers a three month trial. All ya gotta do is call them.
I got three months on my new-to-me '15 Denali this Summer and we even got three free for our daughter's new-to-her '08 Escalade.... :2vrolijk_21:
I guess they figure if you they give you 3, you may opt to continue. I didn't.... ;D

Hi all,
Called XM Radio last night. Gave them the ECM # and in 10 minutes I had XM Radio. Got 3 months free and then the next 5 months for $50.00. The sound system is amazing.

We have had XM on all our vehicles since 2005. I love it, listen to NASCAR, NFL, Weather Channel during the storms here in FL and whatever music we want that day. Fall and spring saturday nights just riding around with Cousin Brucie is always a good time (Channel 6). I know lots of folks like streaming from phone and we tried that but the bike controls for integrated XM is the best deal for my limited brain to operate. Just remember to call when time to renew, do not let them auto-renew as it will be expensive!

I got a 12 month subscription for $60.when it gets ready to renew,I tell them I want the same deal or cancel me. They don't want to loose subscribers. Like what was said above, never let them auto-renew because the fees are outrageous.

Same game we have to play with them.
