Title: Help me to quiet them
Post by: altugo on June 25, 2007, 08:24:06 PM
I got a set of Paul Yaffee skirt blower pipes on the chopper and man they are loud.I love the look of the pipes but i am about to get arrested next time i take a spin around town.Is there any way i can quite em a bit? When i say loud i mean they are like at least 3 times louder than my thunderheaders on fatboy.I already had 2 warnings from the local cops and i need to do something about it.I like the look it fits the bike well so please give me any advises you may have.
Thanks guys. :drink:

altugo,
I had the PY Phantom on my Chopper with a 127 CI el Bruto and my dad in Connecticut heard the bike from South Carolina!!
I ended up going with the V&H Big Radius and now just a set of ear plugs helps me and got some more TQ out of the engine as well.
The Yaffe pipes are bad a$$, but you said it...LOUD and read for the police to POUNCE on us!!!
