Title: Tequila Sunrise -- Real World Pics??? -- Anyone?
Post by: michaelbmenaker on July 29, 2009, 06:06:17 PM: I have a deposit on a Spiced Rum FLHXSE, but I have yet to see a paint chip of either the Spiced Rum or Tequila Sunrise colors.

Any real world pics on the Tequila Sunrise paint would be a great help. In the "official" photos and online stories, sometimes it looks pretty red, in others almost orange.

The Tequila Sunrise has gold flecks in the red paint, so depending on how the sun hits the bike, it can be a very bright red or a very bright reddish-orange....A little too much red/orange for me, needed to be ofset by something to tone it down a little....JMHO...but that's why I've got the Spiced Rum waiting for me, little more subdued color for me. :)

There is alot of a greenish metal flake in the paint and in different angles it does have an orange to red transition. Can't wait for mine to show up.
