Sounds like a hoot [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Ok guys. Time to get those crimson/slate bikes there! Ask Willie G. to autograph it. Then push his nose down close to the paint and ask him what he thinks ;D

I think you'd get your point across [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

Eagle,
Bayside's current shop is about 10 minutes from where I used to live in VA.

You guys are right it would be a great time to ask the bigwigs "what's being done about the paint?" and maybe some of you guys with problems could show up?
It would also be great to see some folks and put names and faces together too. [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

Update,
Bayside Harley has closed it's High St. location for five days and is moving this week to the new Frederick Blvd. location. It is right off of I264 only about two miles from their old location.

After you all get your autographs etc....simply tell him that you know about 30 unhappy Black Crimson owners, and are you guys going to make it right for them??. Im hoping someone takes a Black bike there and asks. I really wish it were me, but obviously cant make it being on west coast.

Well folks I was beside Willie G but didn't get his autograph.Too many folks around to talk to him. :(
But I did spend quite a long time with Mr.James Ziemer who happens to be the CEO of Harley. Strange that very few folks were around him considering he is the head honcho of Harley now. He actually went with me to the service bay where I was getting some minor work done on my bike and he autographed my saddlebag lid. We talked about this website and the paint issues as well as Mr.Anderson's bracket to move the tourpack. Mr. Ziemer was interested in my bike because he just got a Haze several weeks ago and wanted to see what I had done to mine.
As far as the paint being milky on the Crimson/Slate bikes Mr. Ziemer says he was made aware of the problem at Daytona and he will definately look into the issue. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] He did seem concerned about this especially when I told him of this website and the problems with factory reps. I got the feeling he wants to make things right but I guess time will tell. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Way to go.  Thanks for getting to Mr. Z.

Maybe he'll follow the lead of some car types and join here as a member.  Be sweet to talk to the head of the horse instead of the end we normally talk with at the dealer.

Thanks, VaEagle [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
