SEUC² Rineharts PC Roll Your Own
« on: January 20, 2007, 11:06:23 PM »

Ok here's the deal. I had the pipes installed...[size=24]WOW[/size] Why didn't I do this sooner? Numbers don't mean as much to me as seat of the pants drivability. This thing really has some nice torque & sound.
Here are the numbers: Run #4 TQ = 92.62, HP = 78.4 Run #8 TQ = 103.7, HP = 84.6.
The bottom line is that I like it.

I can see why there would be less heat.

I'm wondering if there is going to be a crome part to cover the bung?

AJ,
My sentiments exactly...the only person that needs to be happy with what you've done to your ride, is you.  I pretty much got the same numbers (86+hp and 107+torque) with my setup and I'm extremely happy with that.  Enjoy the ride and thanks for the pics.
Cheers [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif],

Great report and good numbers! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Sure, it'll be nice if we have a chrome cover on the bung. :'(

hard10,

You may want to zip-tie the harness for the rear O2 sensor to the transmission vent hose to keep it from laying on the transmission top cover and scuffing the chrome.  Also, the battery tender harness pigtail looks precariously close to the exhaust in the photos.

Thanks Crash,  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] I'll check both tomorrow.
