You may want to look for a 2009 or later, as they re-designed the frame and the ride is/was much improved.  If you have a good reason to get the 2007, go ahead.  But a 2007 with that many miles probably isn't a great deal.
gotta, agree!

I had a 13 CVO.. I really can't seem to leave them alone, which I've done many pro active work and cams, really had no issues.. Traded for a 17 CVO ~oh lordy~ no longer have that, being HD gave me a 18 CVO .. lol .. It gets worse or better .. since I no longer trust the M8 to handle what I was asking it to dish out, I secretly (from my dealer) went out and bought a 15 CVO just up the road from me. Come to find out I'm the 4th owner and it had 1470 miles on it. Paid 27k for it w V&H head pipe and Rinehart mufflers, found it had a Super Tuner but did not come w the bike, and can't get Stormy Hill HD FL to step up and locate it for me (they did the work). "Bill" bought it and dropped it on one of the saddle bags, certainly can not tell which one (must have replaced it), so "Bill" had 10.5" rear shocks put on, found that didn't work.. so he traded it to "Lucky U" FL for a Trike .. Lucky U advertised. A fellow up my way bought the CVO sight unseen w just over 1400 miles on it (had it shipped) .. He quickly realized it's to much bike and tried to sell it for 29K $2500 above NADA.. I bought it, worse riding bike I ever rode w the 10.5" rear shocks (lucky it didn't rub the wires inside the rear fender, probably would have if one of the last 2 owners put more than 75 miles on).

So now I after reading this thread and you all reminded me of issues I was fearing then and now again .. If you think back when you first bought your bike, and I see many now w 30k miles that lost lifters.. Would you say, just ride it. At the very least get ESP. If I have the bucks do it right and change all the items in question w very good aftermarket parts and put a 117ci while your at it. It really sounds good, very quiet, and rides very well now that it has 13" shocks on it.

31k on 2011.5. i bought the esp so i would ride and stop being a worry wart. not saying others are worried. i just felt with the litfers, compensators, and radio gps electronic hiccups it was worth it. at 31k my repairs thus far have more than paid for the esp. these were items i did not see comings. the engine is still strong at 31k and totally stock to actually answer the question.

if your had a bike  that you never knew when it was going to break and ruined your vacation or planned trip.  dared not get too far from home with it because of multiple failures, you would worry, as most do  not sure bout the worry wart!

2013 FLHTCUSE8 Annv 36000 miles.  No issues, replaced only the front and back tires, header pipe with a Fuel Moto, and a Dynojet Power Vision.

I love my 13 CVO Ultra...20,000 miles with lifters replaced and normal maint. I am partial to the older inner faring layout.

My '15 FLTRUSE made it to just over 42K.  Started it one morning and heard a sound I never heard before.  Sounded like something broke off inside the motor and was randomly kicking around inside.  Strange as when I put it away a few days earlier, there was no issues.

Bike brought to my local indy.  Tare down revealed failures of the oil pump, cam and lifters.  Not sure which failed first but it resulted in trash circulating around the engine.  Further tear down revealed scored pistons and cylinders.   ESP has approved a new long block, which will arrive (hopefully) in about a week.

I am the second owner of this bike, so I don't know the full history.  I've been owner for over a year and haven't had any issues up to this point.   New motor will get S&S lifters just to be sure they don't become a problem down the road.

My 2011 pumpkin has been great ...albeit....I do not run it to hard.....lots of 75-80 mph on the way out west. But the first 40000 has been flawless.  Glad I do not have a M8.  Just sayin

I’m the second owner of a 2012 FLTXSE, CVO, aka the  “Skunk” Road Glide.  Bought it with 21,000 miles and after riding it a
couple thousand miles and reading about the “issues” with cam bearings and lifters, has them upgraded but their didn’t seem to be any problem other than one lifter had a bit of “frosting” on one roller.  Glad I had it taken care of but not sure it’s necessary!

Sorry for the failure but I believe you have made a good choice and wish you many happy miles from here. Let us know more about the new 124 when you have some miles on it.

My 2015 CVO is in the shop now as we speak. The thing is she has been flawless up to now. I took it in for a 30k service at a little over 29k Miles. 2 weeks and 200 Miles later, I started hearing a Rattke Can and Rusty gate noise in the Cam Compartment. They found a Chain Tensioner broke and stuck in the chain and lifters were failing. The shop replaced the entire Cam Compartment with upgraded Oil Pump lifters Cam bearings, etc.. I went on a 2800 mile ride and by the time I got back lifters were losing pressure, by morning. and then shorter periods. I took it back to the shop and they found the motor was self destructing. Valve guides or something broke off and got into the cylinder, something got into the lifter bites and chewed up the bores. I am now waiting for ESP to send an inspector and approve a Long Block.
I didn’t want to believe any of these stories, but here I am. Thank goodness I am a firm believer in the Extended Warranty. But a month ago I paid for the upgraded parts that are now junk
