Gunna sit on it and measure he thought 14” but after sitting on it I think that seems to tall might go 13 but not sure yet.
Congratulations Travis!! Hope you get some riding weather sooner than later. Which windshield did you and John decide to start with?

I think the seat and shocks on the RG and SG sit a little lower than my 15 RGU so that will affect the shield height needed.  Freedom will let you try their shields and return them if you do not take the protective plastic off for your demo.

I usually reduce them to like 1080 resolution with a photo editor and the comment editor will allow one photo per post.  The guys that are posting several photos at once are using photo sharing sites.

On figuring out the height of windshield, if you've got enough windshield to tape a long cardboard ruler size piece to your existing shield you can see what size would give you 1-2 inches looking over windshield top and the recurve will kick the wind up a couple inches above the top of the shield which will get it over your helmet. Don't think the RG's come with much of a shield height.

Another probably won’t have many mods this season but would like a chopped tp and maybe lowers but after seeing it I really like the look without them I’ll have to wait and see how the wind management is.

fyi, if you do decide to go with lowers, you're gonna have to change out your engine guard as well.

Ya if I can’t say if I will or not I probably wouldn’t as long as the wind doesn’t bother me I like the look without them

I really like the gunship at first I wanted black but couldn’t find one but now after seeing it I think I like the grey more the color matched wheels are cool too.

I was leaning hard towards the Dark Earth / Vivid black, until I saw the Gunship Gray in the sun.

Wind management is not as good as it is with Lowers.  I had a 15 CVO Road Glide Ultra and wind management was better.  I'm trying to decide it I want to do the lowers or not for better management, as it does make a 700 mile day more pleasant.  It also makes winter riding much better.  Waiting on a Quote to have lowers painted.

Just took out the new road glide for the first time only 24 degrees this morning but the roads were dry and I had the itch to try out my new bike. I’d say the wind control is pretty good, this new motor is crazy smooth and pulls good down low you can lug it down at 15-1800 and it doesn’t sound like it’s gunna come apart didn’t really rev I past 3500 since it was the first 50 mike ride I did on it. Just thought I’d give my first few thoughts on it the new bike it’s nice for sure.
