New slipons
« on: April 14, 2018, 08:21:32 AM »

I have Rush headers and RCX slipons on my 16 Street Glide CVO. I changed the slipons to Bad Dad Long Shots because I never cared for the tone of the RC’s. Nothing else change but I’m curious do I need to have the bike re-tuned? It seems to run the same, no missing, back firing or lugging. What do you all think?
By the way the Bad Dads sound wicked!!!

You should be fine. If it’s just a muffler swap.
If you have the tuner interface you could see if the is a map available for your combo, if not depending on the type of interface (power vision, SEPST, TTS Mastertune etc) you could do a VTune or Flight recorder to dial it in a bit.
If you just had a download from the dealer and the bike is runnng fine, I certainly wouldn’t pay anymore... they’d likely install the same map anyway.
