Nope. I must admit I'm a bit of a newb, and had the shop do it and went with their recommendations. I was doing lifters and last minute decided to do pipes and cams. Fueling lifters, Zippers tensioners, Woods cams, and D&D exhaust. 105ish HP, and 117ish TQ. I'm happy ....... for now. I'd like to get into the 120/130 numbers next go around.

Cheers from Canadia

Good deal.   The stock 110 feels like riding a tractor around.
I miss my old night train with 204's.

You have Wood cams and a D&D on there right?

Get the heads worked on and that HP will come right up.

Well,   have a change of plans.   After talking to Wes we decided to do a piston change and go with his cnc head package. Along with a set of his 595 cams.
Should be a ton of fun in this softail..

Good choice.
Major compression changes should be done with piston dome whenever possible.
Cutting the heads should only be done for fine tuning the C/R.

I would use a 58, no less than a 55 if you're wanting 130HP

I'd be happy with 115 -120  for now.   Later down the road I'm gonna do a full build 117".

Following...have been interested in the CR 595 cam, just finishes harder than I'm looking for but still pulls harder to the left than some smaller cams. Would love to see one in a 117... I also have a TW-7 sitting here waiting for install  :confused5:

ide go 113" with a 58mm t body now,why do it twice? going 103" is a simple bore and done right, you`ll get your 125-130 and not need to go 117"

I've gotten 130/130 out of 103s converted to 110, many times. 127-129 squared is not uncommon
with less than stellar pipes too.

Had the bike tuned today at Cycle Rama, these are std correction numbers.
Totally changed the bike, will light up the rear tire pretty quick.
Wont let me upload a pic of the sheet.
It did 121 at 5600 and 128 at 4200.
Starts at 110 torque at 2500 then hits hard at 4000. Lines cross at 120.
Am pleased as hell.
