Like a lot of you I have water streaks in my speedometer. Has anyone brought there speedometer to a shop to get fixed? Haley replaced mine once and will not do it again. I did look into Dakota Digital to replace all the guages but really don't want to spent $1200.

Annoying problem, had mine replaced once, did it again.

More bullchit from the fine folks from Milwaukee.  Under the warranty they don't get to say they will only fix a defect one time, and I would hope even the clowns at H-D know they would lose in court on that.  So what are they saying, that this isn't a defect?  It is a defect, it has been evident since they went to the new automotive style instrument cluster, and it most definitely could be corrected if they wanted to do so.  Like most previous common issues, they seem to take at least five to six years to address issues that pizz off their customers.

I went through the dealer, Customer service and wrote a letter to the CO. His assistant called me and told me they had no fix and if they replaced it again and it leaked I would want another. What a dumb answer. And they wonder why sales are down. In the past 24 years I have purchased 8 Harley's, 5 of them CVO's. Never again.

Hasn't this been a recurring problem for years?  I seem to recall reading numerous posts about this...I also had this issue on my 2010 SESG.  I'm guessing if the MoCo was going to fix this, they would have done it by now.

My '97 Ultra did it (speedo side), replaced under warranty and then sold it.

my '09 Street Glide did it, replaced under warranty and traded for my '12 CVO SG, which also did out of warranty...lived with it

Traded that for the current '15 RGU which had a complete speedo/tach/pod failure due to moisture, replaced under warranty.  Hasn't done it again but it's now out of warranty so on me from now on.

It's a pain in the buttocks and should have been addressed YEARS ago.  The old adage "if you build it (poorly), they will still buy it" won't work anymore.

Unfortunately the people running H-D over the past few decades didn't and still haven't learned that lesson.  Part of the blame back in the 90's and early 00's has to rest on the people who just kept buying the bikes even after being screwed over on their previous bikes.  Now that sales have been and are still falling, it appears the current management still doesn't get it.  I guess they think their new main markets, China and India, are full of people who will have lower expectations so it's still OK to use the over priced and low quality approach.  I'm guessing they will eventually find they thought wrong again.  Those and other emerging countries have been riding Honda's for decades, without all the problems Harley will bring to them.

They replaced 3 on my 17 CVO Street Glide and 2 on my 18 CVO Street Glide. All covered under warranty. So far my 19 CVO Street Glide is good but I've only got 7500 miles on it. Time will tell.

Guy on Instagrahm @gaugemodz also gaugemodz.com that advertises he will fix/repair and also his main business is he installs whatever color bulbs you want in the complete dash/speedo/tach etc. Work looks good online, never had any business with him, just thought I would pass it on. He also does color change in handlebar control buttons and radio buttons on the 2014 - 2018 bikes.
