2007SEUC Exhaust,pc111,seac
« on: June 16, 2007, 01:26:43 PM »

I'm new to engine mods. I'm really concerned with the engine temp (drove 150 miles yesterday and temp got up to 261 degrees with dipstick guage)
Is the stock exhaust any good(i like the quiet) I've seen discussions about Rineharts,V&H and others but when I go to order, their is nothing specifically for the 110 SEUC! without Modification or removal of brake pedals. Is their a specific model number of either Rinehart or V&H that will fit without MODS?
Would the stock exhaust and the following mods be sufficient?

I've sort of decided on the PCIII over the SERT because that is what the local dealer suggests and is familiar with

I would guess the screamin Eagle Pro Air Cleaner and Breather Kit would be sufficient ?

Thanx
Mike

There Rineharts will work fine on the 110. Just be sure to get the version for an 07 model. The PCIII will work fine especially if that is what your local tuner recommends and is familiar with. For the Air cleaner i would get the parts listed in the "roll your own" thread here:

You could run the stock exhaust with the PCIII an AC kit but you would still have a very restriced system that wil run hot due to the lack of flow.

I'm having the SEAC and the PCIII installed tuesday, I,m hopeing this will lower the oil temp alittle.  Does anyone know the specific model No. for the rinehart Tru duals system for the 07 flhtcuse2 without having to modify anything (brake pedal)????

Bub part number is 1800-0434 for the rineharts for the 07 models.   I have these on our 07 SEUC2 and 04 SEEG.
No modifcations needed to be made for them.   If your hunting the best price try Eastern Performance they have a web site.

If you like quiet, I would talk to them and ask them about sending along for the extra 114.99 plus shipping the quiet baffles for you.

If you like the sound of the stock mufflers (quiet), I doubt you would like the Rineharts or most of the other options out there.  True Duals may reduce your heat a little but will also make the exhaust louder. A good tuning with the PC III should also help with the heat.  I also had a heat issue with my '06 SE Ultra.  I currently have the V&H TD and Ovals, along with a Ness Big Sucker and a PC III.  The heat issue is better, but still hot at times.  I found that the best solution for getting rid of the heat was to take off the lowers.  Goodluck.

All I can tell you is that I have them on my bike and have no clearance problems anywhere.   The only thing I had to do was adjust the bung in the front for the wide band sensor as was posted some time ago.   Give Linea a call at BUB tomorrow she works in the warranty dept.   She is great to deal with and she will give you or get you the answers you need.
