OK its out, thanks all.

BTW any ideas on how to spread the retainer clip for the exhaust flange? My circlip speaders are not that wide.

There should be enough room to get a small screwdriver one end and lift it up on top of the rolled flanged. Then, just work your way around until it pops off.

JjR...the more you do yourself on the bike, the more you will discover that most of the things are not real difficult technically, but because things are so tightly packed, it's aggravating sometimes.  Beer helps....I always have one while I'm studying about what I'm fixin' to do, another when I get started...repeat as needed. :drink: :drink: :drink:

A six pack will usually get most jobs completed.

Have worked on bikes for years but not latley hence memory shot and beer would only added to the confusion.

All is well, the bike is back toghter.
