Anyone with a 2000/2001 running Zippers?
« on: August 29, 2007, 07:43:03 PM »

What are you using for the "Speedo Calibration" setting?
Page 49 of the manual only reflects 2002 and higher.
I tried the 2002 numbers in my '01 Ultra, and the turn signals partially work.
They cancel if I start out from a stop, but not when rolling at freeway speeds.

Thanks

I had my 2001 Road King ECM replaced with the Zippers ECM (no auto tune) recently, my turn signals do not self cancel, Zippers knows that the turn signals do not cancel, call Zippers and place name and phone number on their list, Zippers will contact owners when fix is found

I also had the throttle body and injectors from Zippers installed at same time, wow, big time acceleration increase above 3.5k rpm, need to have bike fine tuned on dyno, please with gain

Sturbee,

The new M&M ECMs are in. I got mine two weeks ago and finally swapped it out. It all works, including the self cancelling turn signals. They work great from a stop, or slow roll, but seem to take longer (12-15 second run time) at freeway speeds. Maybe that's normal, I don't know, it's been a long time since I had fully working turn signals. So far so good, and it came with the new firmware loaded in it too.

Yes I did.

I am now running MAP 307 and so far so good. We're on the road from LA to Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, Four Corners, and back to LA. 1st tank of gas 30mpg, 2nd tank 33, 3rd tank 37. fourth tank 36. So the numbers are climbing. We'll see what happens in the mountains.

I'm thinking 12-15 seconds freeway speed for self cancelling turn signals is about right. That's what my buddies 2002 Ultra does.

Anyone want to buy an M&M to Delphi conversion kit?

Just curious, did you have to buy the new M&M module or did they swap it with you?
