2005 CVO FatBoy Tombstone Light?

I'm installing a Drag Specialties WIDE Tombstone rear light.  All was going together well, but noticed the bracket that I installed as a part of the kit sticks out too far.  When connecting the lamp housing, the housing sits more then a quarter inch from seating on the fender.

Anyone else installed a tombstone rear lamp on their 2005 Fatboy?
