Hi All
Just browsing internet last night and found your site, as a CVO owner had to sign up straight away.
I have 2007 CVO Springer and have just received my book and letter on product upgrade, Mine started leaking from base of cylinder about 2 weeks ago and is booked in for the mod, only 2500 miles on the clock. I also have a 1994 Springer that I was going to trade in for the CVO but when the time came I could not bring myself to part with it. I am fanatical about keeping my bikes looking thier best and the 1994 springer still looks like it just came out of the showroom. Am greatly concerned about possible scratches etc when CVO goes in for work but I must say my local dealer has never let me down in the past so I am hoping they will take care, I will keep you posted. Will be keen to read through posts on detailing and hopefully have some contributions to make. Having had a quick look through the detailing posts regarding quick detailed versus washing, I have always found there is no substitute for a good wash with good quality shampoo using a mit(never a sponge) rinsing with a hose(carefully) and drying with a waffle weave cloth.
