Hi from Flanders...Belgium
« on: January 20, 2009, 03:47:24 PM »

As a new member to the club I have a small introduction...
47 years old...married and 2 kids...living in the northern part of a Belgium.
I ride Harley since 1990 and owned all touring models from HD... :orange:
I travelled around Europe and the USA (route 66)  and Australia wiht the Harley and last year I did a 12.000km trip in Russia(bmw gs). :drink:
Now I ordered my very first CVO ultra authum haze....but I am rather afraid  :oops:about everything I read concerning the "heat" of the engin. Are there members in Europ that do not have problems withe the 2008/2009 cvo thanks to our climant beeing milder...

I wish you all safe and sunny roads...and a good president for your country...
Regards
Tom

Welcome Tom from Southern New Jersey USA.  Congratulations on the new bike.  We would love to see you post some pictures from your beautiful homeland.
I would say for you to Enter a new post concerning the differences between the bikes sold in the USA vs other countries (CVO questions) to get an answer to your question.  I would assume they would be the same except possibly emmissions issues.

Welcome to the site from Djibouti. You need to post some pictures of your country. I'm sure that most of us have never been there and can only imagine how beautiful it can be.

Tom -- welcome aboard from Bishop, GA.  I've got the same model that you're getting.  Too early to tell about the heating problems.  Where I live that can be a real problem in the summer.  The more informed on here could tell you.  However, go to the thread further down on CVO devoted just to Ultraclassics or to the 110.  There are a number of similar questions and answers posed there.
