Just considering this to go with the HD unit that came with the bike.  I have been using the HD one for rides with others, for bike to bike communication on the CB.  Figured the BSR could use one if she goes along and when she is not I will use the J&M for the simple fact my HD speakers are kinda weak.
Looking for someone who has used this unit for the shorty helmets.

I bought two for the wife and I... only because I wanted to still use the HK radio. They work good, but are expensive.

Wireless is the way to go, not to mention that you can pair with other sets as well.

I have used the J&M with great success. I don't use the comm on my bike but the CB for bike-bike, perfect. I get 3 + miles range. they also make a good one for 3/4-fullface that I have in my Jett 11 H-D helmet and I just use the J&M handheld mic on days I use the shorty , which is every day now
