Hello there, I am looking for the original HD advance bluetooth phone module and I do not knoe where to find it?. Does anybody know where can I buy it?. This part is no longer available in Spain

I beg to differ with you. Have you personally owned one? I have. Two actually. One was water damaged because I installed it in the fairing against the instructions that came with the module. My second unit now resides in my Tour Pak and works flawlessly.

Yes I bought one when I bought my 09. Dealer played with it for 3 days, replaced it with a new one, played with it for 1 day. Called the MOCO and they told him that they were having problems with them. Dealer gave me my money back. That's when I started designing some thing for myself and it took off. Another member on this forum sent me his to take apart and see if I could figure it out, he received it from a friend that got tired of trying to get it to work. Apparently not all of them are defective, but enough to drop them.


Also have friends that have them and they seam to work.

Just saying I think they are no longer available because they had problems with them

I personally have not seen your product so I can't comment other to say I have heard from others here and elsewhere that it works well. At $65 it's a far cry from what the MoCo wanted for their module. To be fair, your unit would not with my particular installation as I do not use a Garmin Zumo. I'm sure that it's an invaluable product for someone that does want to integrate the Zumo and their HD radio.

Not a problem. I was not trying to plug myself here, just wanted to let the guy who's looking for one know that he may be disappointed with it.

Even though I designed and tested the Bomm with the Zumo in mind it will work with any GPS that has a 2.5mm microphone input jack. Of course the GPS also needs an audio output jack to route the output to the radio AUX input.

I was not trying to plug myself here, just wanted to let the guy who's looking for one know that he may be disappointed with it.

A little unfair, I think Jim. I think he wouldn't be, and the overwhelming evidence from those who've used this (both site members, and the friends I have who've bought one based on my experience with it) is that it works brilliantly and integrates beautifully with the HK Audio system.  That's not to detract from your product, which is a great idea,  and perfect for those with a GPS, but there are plenty of folks with the HK audio system and no GPS.  I have a Zumo 550, in fact, but given the choice of what to buy to use my cellphone on the bike, I wouldn't hesitate one nanosecond - the HK module, every time. (Though I'd really like to add the cellset device to integrate the Zumo audio without having to use the AUX input).

I’m speaking from my own experience and the experience of others I have talked to who have had problems. It seams that you MAY have connectivity issues between your phone and the module.

No, not upset, Jim, relax! 

You are correct in saying that you may have connectivity isses with some phones. Mine didnt work properly, so I got an old one for free that does. When I'm going on the bike, I put the SIM in the old phone and toss it in the tourpak. Works great, and unlike the Zumo or any other so called "solutions" for making or receiving calls on your bike in your HD headset, it's perfectly integrated with the HK audio system, and controlled via voice and/or hand controls without taking your hand off the grip.

Major failing? The ridiculous price!
