hi

just purchased a garmin zumo 500 deluxe last one really good price.

I have a se ultra classic, which has a 2.5mm jack socket

my questions are on the my new zumo 1. do i use either the headphone or audio out sockets for normal day to day use and depends on which one what size is it so i can make up a lead to plug into the bike

You need to get a cord like this - SOUND PROFESSIONALS - GOLD PLATED 3.5MM (1/8 INCH) RIGHT ANGLE STEREO PATCH CABLE (1 meter length) or similar. Plug one end into the audio out on the Zumo, and the other into the Aux on the front of your radio to hear commands coming from your Zumo (you will need to select "AUX" on your radio also).
