stupid question

I'm not very versed in the electronic world. So will somebody please tell me, What is the monitor that I see plugged into the cd player on some of the roadglides? Is it a dvd player, navigation system, what is it, and how does it work? I'm very interested, I think it looks really cool and I'm definately interested in one.

Its most likely a GPS. Dont know of anyone mounting a DVD player yet, but I suppose thats next. :o

I understand this radio works with OEM hand controls.

That JVC system is hard drive based though.  Problematic on a bike over the long haul.
