Zippers Air Cleaner
« on: April 05, 2006, 03:30:04 PM »

Is the extra wide (5/8" wider)air cleaner element listed for the twincam88 the same as the one they list as a 103 SE replacement.

Will the 5/8" wider filter fit inside my teardrop cover

Cheers

Aussie,

It does fit behind the cover and works great the only thing you will see is about a 1/4 of the filter sticking out behind the cover against the engine as it is wider than the cover is on the CVO's.

Any need/concern when cleaning/detailing scooter because of exposed filter element? If this is like the K&N Filter should one be concerned about cleaning/re-oiling after washing/detailing bike?

Nothing different than any other air filter except you should be doing regular maintance on the filter if your not already.   I have had 0 issues thus far on the pumpkin or the 124" motor in regards to the aircleaner.
