Exhaust system. A 2-1 this time.

Of all the 2-1 which is quieter?
Are they all about the same HP/TQ wise?
How about quality?

I don't know which one is the quietest but i can tell you that the Thunderheader is probably the loudest.

Well I ain't lookin' for loud. Just extra HP, but not at the expense of my hearing, LOL!

You will want to buy a D&D Fat Cat without the performance baffel!!!!! Good sound and GREAT POWER for smaller motors(103 and under)

With the stock baffle, the SE Pro 2:1 is quiet. I have a straight thru baffle in mine and it barks when clearing the throat.

Well I have the opportinity to pick up a FatCat for $425.00, and that includes shipping. I'm tempted, but which is quieter, the SuperMeg, or the SE Pro 2-1? I tour a lot.

I cannot comment on the FatCat. However I can say, the SE Pro 2:1 is quiet enough where I took the baffle out to modify it the 1st night I had it.

I have the 2:1 Fat Cat on my cherry '05. They sound awsome and I get compliments all the time. I would not say they are quite. They may be the least loud of the 2:1 systems. I pull a trailer while touring and HAVE TO wear ear plugs. The sound bouncing off the trailer is almost deafining!! Good Luck

Is this the same one? It says '99 and later carburated bikes. Will it work on my '01 FI?
Did you get a low end "torque dip" that sometimes comes with some of the 2-1?

Thats the pipe and if its for touring it should fit all the Twin Cam Baggers...

And the infamous "dip".

Well, ummm, yes but no!

The dip was very, very, very mild with the stock baffle. I amplified the dip with my custom baffle (less BP). I was able to tune some of it out, but not completely. Its there. Ill post my dyno sheet if I can find it.

Personally, I love the pipe.

I had it on my 2002 Dyna 95"
2003 SERK (thats how I know the dip was less with stock baffle)
2005 SEEG.

If I decide to get a streetglide, Ill get another.

I agree with DAWG! I just got these and I love the looks and sound is awesome. Crusing, no problem hearing radio, wide open sounds wicked. I like the look of the dual exhaust so I got the ghost pipe.
