I have found some new photos on a Japanese HD site.  This version should be what is also heading to Oz. No side number plate and different mufflers.

I actually prefer the look with the number plate on the rear instead of the side plate.

At first I like the black/silver but once I had seen the top of the tank was almost all chrome, I couldn't have it. The heat and reflection from the sun would be horrid as our sun is very unforgiving here for most of the year. So I have gone with the Crimson Red instead. Can't wait to get it!

Not sure who took the pictures but they are marvelous.  this is not a practical bike for me, but the more I see pics of it the warmer I'm getting.  If I actually saw one in the metal, I might have to chain myself to my bike.   Does look a mile long in the first pic, doesnt it??  Pork.

That red sure looks nice too!  I've got a black/silver one coming to me in Hawaii so I'll be sure to find out first hand about the reflection and heat from the polished tank.  I get blinded when I gaze down at the chrome center strip on my softail convertible . .  so I simply don't look down on it while riding.  After all, we're supposed to keep our eyes on the road and the pretty girls in bikinis.  The instrumentation is more forward on the tank and handle bar so I think I'd be less inclined to look directly on the polished area. I went with the black silver combo because I felt it was a classic color combo especially with the red pin striping.  My concern was that over time, some of the other color combos might be too trendy and I'd grow tired of it . . . a big concern 'cause this will likely be my last bike . . . just like my last last bike.  Wish I could see all three in the metal and then make my choice.

I hear what your saying... It was hard putting down some coin for a bike I've never seen let alone all these new colours as well.

You will be over the moon when you see it, i did the same with my SG. ordered it 9 months in advance and not seeing the colour was nerve racking but once I set eyes on it I was gob smacked.

You hit the nail on the head mate, that Japanese spec is most prolly the EXACT bike we'll get in Oz

Those look like Heritage / Nightrain / Rocker / Custom tapered catalytic converter mufflers.

And that's for sure the number plate setup we'll get.

Indeed ALL of the HDI ( Harley'D International !) bikes will most likely be the same

Nice lookin bike.

Just heard on Saturday that ALL of the Aussie allocation are "sold" at $43K Australian, so yer now too late ...

In 3 years you'll get a used one out of Japan for way cheaper money if you can get to it before the "grey import entrepreneurs"..

Nice bike and some great photos first set i have seen showing the licence plate which look great not to sure about the mufflers ,trouble is Harley UK have no idea which set are being shipped to the UK ,are you guys down there going to keep it standard or change the mufflers ? I have one in gold coming with the hope that any sun we might have does indeed reflect up on me to at least to give me the illusion of a sunny day !!

This is most likely the international version so all bike outside the US could look like this.

As for the exhaust I'm not sure yet. Either some tried and tested S&S slipons or V&H big shot staggered. Oh plus I'm planning on putting on some apes.

I agree with everyone. This is a beautiful MC, but just not practical for me.  :-\. I need my fairing, lowers, tunes and windshield.  Now 30 years ago...,  :P
