New Agitator Air Breather
« on: November 18, 2012, 09:56:14 AM »

Has anyone seen or installed the new agitator air breather, part#29400064? I think it looks really awesome & that it will match the wheels on my '12 SESG means I'm going to have to have one. I would also like to install a throttle body cover, part#61300109 behind that breather but I don't know if it will fit. Any helpful knowledge would surely be greatly appreciated. Thank You

I have this on my flhrse5. It looks great.  However, we have tried 2 different throttle body covers, the HD one for the heavy breather and the Kury one.  Neither fit.  Hopefully the MoCo will come out with one soon.

Looking good sesto. I've got the black and chrome one on order. It's backordered from the MOCO.

I put that one on my FLHRSE5 anniversary the day I got the bike.

I too want a cover to go behind it to hide the electrics.

I looked at the black and chrome one, its really a brushed look like on the 12 CVO road glide wheels.

Any chance of posting a high resolution picture of the road king with the agitator air cleaner.

Send me a PM with your email, and I will email one to you.  Not too sure how high res it'll be as I took that pic with my phone.  I may have a few others I can send you too.  I'd snap a new one for you,but it is in the shop under going a little cosmetic surgery and a pace maker.

Here is what I did to mine.

What is the part # for the throttle body cover that you used. Did you have to do any modifications to it? It looks great! Good job.

It's for the heavy breather, yes I had to modify it extensively. What you see is just the lower portion of the original that I cut off with a dremel cut off wheel. It's attached to the back plate with six 6/32 button head screws,

Finished installing my new agitator breather today.

That looks neat, looks better than the standard air cleaner.

Can you take a few more pictures,
Looking from riders position to give me an idea how far out it stands from tank compaired to original air cleaner.
Close up side on showing both cylinders. (Engine)

Does it sound any different on the intake compaired to the standard air cleaner?
What did you do to make the throttle body cover fit?
Is a retune required changing out from standard to Agitator, I have only just had a dyno tune and if possible would like to avoid a retune.

Aussie,

I have to take everything back off to install the o-rings & to loctite all the bolts. When I do this I'll post more pics for you.
