Fatbaggers ez clutch adjuster
« on: April 24, 2023, 04:50:05 PM »

Just installed on 21 cvo streetglide. Easy installation and adjustment. Had to buy this or change yellow plastic junk used by Harley. Plastic broke first time trying to use. Shifting smooth and no pulling forward when starting in gear, I highly recommend it.

I bought one of the FBI EZ clutch adjusters but haven’t installed it yet.  I need to buy an offset box end wrench to adjust the clutch hub first.  I’m not enjoying the friction zone or the weird click I get when I shift.  I called a tech from Fat Baggers and was told that the clicking was a sign that my stock clutch adjuster was getting ready to break.
I thought I could find more reviews on the FBI part but it seems not many people are using them.
Anyone on this forum have any experience with this?  The people at my dealership haven’t even heard about it.  I had to pull up the FBI website and show them.

In my opinion everyone with the 'new improved' two piece clutch cable needs this.  On a trip out west last year friend's broke and only had about 7k on the bike.  Fortunately got it towed to a dealer about 90 miles away who had the part.  Otherwise he'd have been stuck for who knows how long waiting on a part - if they could find one.  The plastic adjuster / lock is definitely a piece of junk.  The moco should be ashamed to put this junk on their bikes.
