Title: S&S EVO 124LC
Post by: ltank on March 14, 2017, 10:55:29 AM
I have a S&S V111 in my FXR4 CVO 87k miles,  60k on motor and Rivera 6 speed O.D.
I just ordered a S&S V124LC for my new to me 1998 Road King.
It has to be built, I can't wait. ItIt was ordered with 101 compression
Super G Carb and S&S 600 cam. Much better for touring than a 124 with 10.8 :1 and a 640 cam. There will be some HP/TQ loss but it will be plenty for a 63 yr old.

My FXR4 CVO with S&S V111 has a Rivera Primo 6 speed O.D. gear set was 1100 plus installation in the OEM tranny case. 65 k miles and not one problem. I can get the whole set up for right at 1800.
I will install it at the same time as the new V124LC  that S&S is doing a special build for me. 4.125" bore -10cc low compression pistons. Exact same pistons as in the TC 124LC. The cylinders will be all black with natural heads and cases with chrome rocker boxes and cam cover. I am opting for the 600 cam instead of the 585.
