Okay so I traded in my 2015 which was a hard wired headset system.
I took delivery of the bike last night and was able to get the wireless headset operational, however when I press the Voice command on the handlebar I hear her say Say a command but she does not hear me thru the microphone. I’m sure this is operator error and somewhere I must have missed a step in the setup.
I’ve researched instructions, which are clear as mud. Any help would be appreciated.
Stereo and prompts I hear fine thru the headset. Just not able to tell her anything

isn't that how it normally goes? women ask you something, but don't wait long enough to actually listen to your reply? :bananarock:

That’s Funny 😂😂😂😂. Not helpful but funny

What did you pick up? A CVO? 2018? 2019? Need to know your current setup. Do you have a Sena 20S - Harley edition?
-
Damn how did I miss that, 2019 CVO Limited and wireless headsets that came with it Harley Boom by Sena

I have a feeling you aren’t pressing the voice command button on the left side grip before speaking or you have the communications setting to speakers and it needs to be headset in setups.
Also I don’t think it matters but, turn the big wheel on the headset clock wise while talking and the volume up button too. Make sure you married the headset to the bike before you marry the phone to the bike, make the bike the master to the headset and phone as slaves. Sorry, not trying to be a smart azz but, it simply works and if it doesn’t there may be something wrong with the headset module.
-
Thank you. Do you have to do anything to wake up the microphone on the headset before using the voice command switch on the bike?
I may try and remarry them and see if that works
-
The mike works when you talk automatically, the button on the handle bar creates the interface.
-
That’s what I thought. I am sure this is operator error. I will do some more checking.

Thanks for the input guys. After work today it all worked fine except it won’t recognize names in my phone book. So on to figuring it out. And please before anyone says or comments about reading the manual I would but they could not find it at the dealer

DR I just purchased a 2019 street glide special and no boombox manual came with it. It's on the Harley website guess they needed to save some money for all their woes. Hope this helps and solves your mission.

I ended up going to the Dealer and working with them. I could have saved myself about 3 hours of trying to figure it out.
