Title: Weight
Post by: Dwight on February 17, 2011, 08:32:40 PM
Got the new SERGU home today.  Didn't get to ride yet but noticed it seemed to be much heavier than the 07 Ultra that I owned.  It seems it took much more effort to move it around.  Are they heavier?  Maybe more top heavy?

Heavier - Yes...

More top heavy?  It sure seems so!

And they are taller at the seat too...   :nixweiss:

Actually, shipped weight is 905lbs, wet weight is 943lbs. My biggest concern is overloading bike on a two up trip. GVW is 1360lbs very easy to reach.

This is part of the reason that I upgraded to the Works Performance front and rear suspension.

Well, at least I'm glad it's not me just getting feeble in my old age!!  I'm converting the RG to a Champion Trike so the weight isn't going to hurt much, just was a real bear to move around in the shop.

Thanks guys
