Since everyone has had at least a year with convertible and time to do lots of customization, lets see what you have now. :apple:
Looking forward to see a lot of great looking bikes.

My most favorite model year color. Wish my '12 had that paint job. I guess I could if I wanted it bad enough.......... Pork.

Sjr,
I love the 2012 leather for our 2011's. It goes great with the color combo. I've thought about it but the cost is prohibitive. How did you do it? Did you pay full retail from HD? Find them used? Do a trade?
Would love to know.

It was a bit expensive. I purchased the seat, bags and backrest from tri-state Harley
They discount 20%.
I was lucky enough to find a buyer for the OEM bags, that helped offset the cost.
I can't remember the last time I did not get a compliment on my convertible.
Everyone (except real Harley Guys) think it is a custom bike.
I had the mufflers done by Fullsac so now it sounds as good as it looks. The only negative I have found is the reflection at night from the speedo onto the windshield.
I think i may raise the gas tank to correct it.
-
I also get a lot of great compliments. The reflection does not bother me...its the floor board scraping during semi-aggressive leaning that I could do without.

SJR, what are you using for your drivers backrest? I love it. Please share part numbers.
Thanks
-
I had the backrest custom made at a local metal shop.

Dude...Is that the stock seat?
If so, where did you find a driver backrest?
-
My 2010 with the upgraded fairing.
May I ask for details about the fairing?
-
Love my black pipes..
-
Just put my backrest on Monday night. Rode today for the first time, love it! It feels a little too upright at first but as you ride it starts to take a "set". Here's the link:

It took longer to open the box it came in than it did to put it on.
-
OK,
I just ordered one...Lets see how it goes.
Thanks for sharing.
-
I bought the same one. It is too far forward for me. I didn't like the way it mounts on the seat screws because when leaning back on it it seems like it could break the screws off. They are just through the fender. Not sure they are meant to have that pressure on them. What do you guys think?
-
still waiting on the new seat to get here
and find a better place than my busted up drive way to take a picture

Few pictures of my (new to me) 2012 CVO convertible. I was dead set on getting the 2011 or 2012 CVO Street glide but changed my mind to this bike. Low seat if great. Stuff on for longer trip, stuff off for around town. I think this (any of the FLSTSE1/2/3) are the best bikes the MoCo has made to date.

Here is my 2010 Convertible with the custom exhaust and forward mount trunk. Seriously, I couldn't be happier with the bike. I wish it sat a bit taller in the back, but I'm working on that solution.

I had them powder coated, found a color that's very very close! $85, to color match and have painted would've been a lot more! Impossible to find paint code for rio red
