I have yet to see my parts. Once I can get them next to the OEM color I'll report back as to what I think of the match.

I have a guy trying to match for me.  He has my side covers.  If your guy gets a good match and mine does not, I may have to ship my stuff to him.

There is a listing on ebay that just went up, for Harley Gunship Gray paint with pictures of the color match.

That is a lot of pennies for very little paint.

For non mating parts mail order paint wouldn't be bad.

For parts going against other parts I'd be apprehensive.

What's so good about that picture is you can't tell which is which....sign of a good match and good painter.

Not sure, I would hope not.  I was parked next to a gunship gray street glide a couple months ago, they sure looked the same.

Yes. Joe told me he has 2 different shades so far for the gunship. So to make sure I sent him one of the side covers.  I got a bunch of parts out to him right now as well as a wrap around front fender. Joes a great guy. He has been awesome to deal with.
Also what a great project to conceive and then execute.
