I think giving them a bike for cruising around the country pimping out HD on social media sites is about the only way you'll ever catch a youngster riding one. Now if they had to pay for it, chances are you'll find them riding something with 2 more cylinders, twice the hp, liquid-cooled, lighter, better handling and stopping for the same price. They must be getting really desperate now, lol.

I guess giving away a hand-full of free bikes to newbies and forcing them to pimp the HD name is cheaper than fixing their current quality issues. Build a reliable, quality machine in the first place and you wouldn't be chasing new customers, they would already be knocking on your door.

"Thing breaking down everywhere."

"Got cold and wet."

"Everywhere we went nothing but old people."

"Almost killed again by driver texting."

"Harassed by guys with club logo jackets."

"People carrying guns scare us."

Would be smarter to finance a tv reality docufantasy about the adventures of the young interns. Better marketing opportunity and in time the syndicated tv reruns would pay for the production.  Sell some Harleys, clothing, and get the destnations to pay/sponsor their inclusion.  Like a traveling Jersey Shore on Harleys.
